My years at Singapore School Manila gave me more than just an excellent education — it gave me opportunities to lead, to grow, and to truly discover my passions. Through the IB Programme, I was able to explore topics in depth and challenge myself academically, while extracurriculars like debating and politics gave me the space to develop my voice and confidence. I am deeply grateful to the teachers and staff who always looked out for my best interests, guided me with care, and opened doors that have shaped my journey to college and beyond.

Singapore School Manila taught me to create a balanced schedule that helps me excel in both academics and athletics. As a student-athlete, I want to be able to compete in my sport at the highest level while also being a well rounded student. SSM allowed me to do just that with their support and unconditional love for their students. Their support made the transition to college a lot easier, as I now know how to create a balanced schedule that allows me to be the best I can be in both academics and athletics. I am forever thankful for SSM for every lesson and opportunity they’ve presented me with, they will always be my second home!

SSM was the place that helped me discover who I was when I felt lost, a community that accepted and supported me no matter who I was or what path I chose. Even when my aspirations seemed bigger than the resources available, the teachers, staff, and students went above and beyond to guide me to where I am today, and because of that, I am now in my dream university.

My journey at SSM has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. It has taught me valuable life skills like how to be resilient, respectful, and responsible—that have shaped me into a better person. I am deeply grateful to the teachers and staff for their guidance, support, and encouragement to step out of my comfort zone and take risks, allowing me to grow into the best version of myself.

Just two weeks ago, I remember feeling nervous stepping into my first day of university. But I look back now and realize just how much my years at SSM have prepared me for the transition into this new chapter. The skills and habits I built continue to serve me each day, and I remain forever grateful to the SSM community for the knowledge and unwavering support that has provided me with the foundation to pursue my dreams internationally!

My journey at SSM began in primary school, as someone who couldn’t communicate well with the people around me. However, SSM is such a welcoming community that, over time, I was able to connect with the people here and started to find my voice.  SSM is a place where you can explore many different interests, eventually discover your passion, and receive the support to showcase it on both national and global stages.I don’t know what kind of person I would be if I hadn’t come to SSM, but who I am today was shaped by the nine years I spent here. I am truly grateful for all that I gained from SSM, including the people I met, the experiences I had, and the lessons I learned throughout the journey.

I will always be grateful for my time spent in SSM. The rigorous academics and extra-curricular activities opportunities offered truly helped me build my confidence and worldly experience. Furthermore, the amazing faculty created the optimal environment for us to grow as both students in a classroom and individuals in society. I will always be grateful for the base of skills and support provided by SSM, which I will carry for life.

My time at Singapore School Manila pushed me to grow beyond what I thought possible, both in and out of the classroom. I am deeply grateful for the teachers who believed in me and the friendships I formed that shaped me.

As someone who was a local school student their whole life, transferring to SSM made the last years of my high school transformative and unforgettable. Within those fleeting two years, I had made some of my closest friends and had learned some of the most valuable things about myself. The close-knit community of SSM welcomed me with open arms and helped me make intimate, lasting relationships with my peers, and beautiful memories. The staff and teachers here have such genuine care for their students, and it’s what developed my strong love for learning.
